    1168. pomonarius Hb. - Sp. III, T 61 - B. R. T 45. Diese Art ist bei uns recht selten und vereinzelt gefunden worden. Sie fliegt im März-April. Steckborn (Schalch), Weiningen (V.), Rheinfelden, Basel (Honegg.), Follaterres (W.), Sion, Sierre (Paul), St. Leonhard (Favre), Malans (Thom.), Chur (Meng.).
    Hybriden:
    a) ? hünii Obthr. - Bull. Soc. Ent. France 1897, PI. 2 - 1900, PL 1. = pomonarius Hb. X hirtarius Cl. Ist kleiner, bleicher, das w mit lanzettförmigen Flügeln. Dieser Hybride wurde von Hüni-Inauen in Zürich erzogen.
    b) ? helenae Harrison - Gub. Ent. Zeitschr. V, Nr. 1. = pomonarius Hb. X zonarius Schiff. c) ? pomonarius Hb. X püzi Stdfs. do.
    d) ? pomonarius Hb. X hünii Obthr. do.
    e) ? hünii Obthr. X pomonarius Hb. do.
    f) ? hünii Obthr. X hirtarius 01. do.
    Die Raupe - Sp. IV, T 42 - lebt von Mai bis Juli an Birken, Eichen, Haseln und Obstbäumen. Honegger fand sie im Olsbergwald bei Basel im Juni, nahe bei der Wurzel an jungen buschigen Laubholzstämmchen sitzend. Die Puppe überwintert; ich habe sie bei Weiningen mehrfach gegraben. E. Sp.
